Scam Defense #6 — card rebuild (v3)
Land Rover card fixed + a real placement gate built so it can't recur. Still Act 1 only — acts 2–5 come after you okay the direction. No credits spent.
This pass:
- Land Rover card fixed — the tag text was overflowing off the right edge; it now
fits and centers on the tag. (It was a docked-tag code path I hadn't render-checked — the
exact hole you spotted.)
- A placement gate now checks every card, mechanically. Each card renders with its
text in a marker colour and its paper in another; a script verifies the text sits inside the
paper — on 100% of cards, every act. It's proven: it fails a card whose text escapes and
passes one that fits. This replaces me eyeballing a sample. All 7 Act-1 cards pass.
- Earlier notes still in: opening reworded ("Nine thousand of them did not exist"),
placement centered, headline font lighter/more modern (Space Grotesk).
Act 1 — full (0:00–2:15)
The four cards you flagged — corrected
Still to come (not in this cut)
- The rest of your watch notes (you stopped partway).
- Acts 2–5 rebuilt on the same blank props + placement engine.
- ledger-page / end-card props came out angled — I'll flatten them for the later-act cards.
- A second beige wash on the re-rent scene still (~A3-12) — I'll regen it blank.
